Vintage Wedgwood large dinner plate "Romantic England Blue" 10 3/4" or 27cm in diameter.
Step into the serene beauty of the historic British countryside with this beautiful large dinner plate by the legendary Wedgwood in the highly sought-after Romantic England Blue pattern. Expertly crafted in England during a remarkably short, two-year production run between 1997 and 1999, this discontinued collection is a prized acquisition for lovers of premium blue-and-white ceramics.
The Romantic England design is a masterclass in traditional English transferware artistry. The center of the plate features a stunningly detailed, romanticized landscape illustration depicting a majestic historic estate framed by sweeping old-growth trees and an elegant lakeside view. This central vignette is beautifully offset by a wide, luxurious, and dense border garland of cascading wild berries, leaves, and blooming English flowers. Spanning a generous 10 3/4 inches, this substantial plate serves as an exquisite anchor for a formal table setting or a stunning display piece for a china cabinet or plate wall.
